Outcome

  • Through education Vastera created a market for global IT software primarily in the UK but also in Europe. It penetrated this market by winning business with a number of major logistics players and trading organisations.

Amethyst Group: PR Launch

PR launch of a newly formed Logistics Group.

Challenge

Amethyst Group was a newly formed organisation within the Itochu Group focusing on warehousing and distribution. It required a comprehensive PR launch in the UK to securely establish itself and its brand in the market.

Actions 

  • Developed a 90 day strategic launch plan 
  • Pinpointed the vital target audiences
  • Created key messages based on customer and employee research
  • Collated a comprehensive press pack for distribution and journalist follow up
  • Organised a launch event  
  • Set up a programme of ongoing customer forums

  • Achieved wide coverage of the new Group including its key messages

DHL: International PR services across the Group

Summary of achievement 

AI Consulting managed and implemented the complete PR programme for a number of DHL divisions including retail, Industrial, FMCG and manufacturing. This included both the logistics and vertical markets press in the UK and internationally.

As a result of this work AI consulting took over the global management of the Groups media relations activity on an interim basis, successfully introducing PR planning and processes across the whole organisation. 

 

Cirrus Logistics: Awareness creation for brand and services

Summary of achievement 

AI Consulting successfully took Cirrus Logistics, suppliers of modelling and simulation IT solutions from a virtually unknown entity to an established first choice in its target markets through media relations activity. Strong market awareness was created across its chosen sectors including port operators, manufacturers, third party logistics providers and major oil companies. This awareness played an important role in ensuring that Cirrus reached it target growth objectives which included the recent successful sale of the business.
